Mala is an enigma, she is complex and deep.

When I read the synopsis of 30 Days in September and the character description for Mala, I was immediately hooked. I naturally tend to gravitate towards darker stories and characters. But Mala is like no character I have played before. Just when you think you have understood Mala, you discover yet another layer.

Mala was forced to grow up at a very young age; she has endured so much. She is dangerously impulsive and wayward but I can’t help but admire her strength. She has been able to create a successful career for herself in spite of her tragic childhood. Allowing myself to plumb the dark depths of her character and truly feel what she feels has its challenges, but I have to go there if I am to tell Mala's story in its rawest and most honest form.
