In Free Outgoing you will see us try something new – Projection. Projected on-screen audio-visuals add emphasis and enrich the on-stage performance. To design the projection graphics we were lucky to find the very talented graphic artist, Marcos Calamato, who helped us put together something that we think adds an important dimension to the play.

Marcos writes about Free Outgoing:

Working on a play that is so relevant to modern times, especially to the youth has been a very interesting experience. I felt this constant reminder that this is what's happening nowadays, and what a lot of young people are going through. Being born and raised in South America and being part of a generation that grew up without social media, I cannot help but ask myself that as we continue to use newer ways of communication, are we going to affect the way we interact with each other as human beings. Because we live in times where what we say and do lives forever online, where this way of bullying and shaming has become the norm, I truly believe we need more plays like Free Outgoing.
